Arraial do Cabo, also known as the “Brazilian Caribbean”. The tour includes a few stops (about half an hour each) to relax and take a nice dip in the crystalline waters of Prainha, Praia do Forno, Praia do Farol, Gruta Azul , and fenda da Nossa senhora (passage), Praia dos Anjos NB: in adverse weather conditions (strong winds) the Brazilian Navy may cancel the boat excursion – in this case an alternative land tour will be operated.

Arraial do Cabo is often referred to as the “Diving Capital” of Brazil due to its crystal-clear waters and rich marine biodiversity. Divers from all over the world come here to explore coral reefs, shipwrecks, and an impressive variety of fish.
The city is surrounded by some of Brazil’s most beautiful beaches, including Praia do Forno, Praia dos Anjos, Praia Grande, and Pontal do Atalaia Beach. Its turquoise waters and golden sands attract tourists in search of paradise-like scenery.
Despite being geographically close, Cabo Frio and Arraial do Cabo are different cities. Arraial do Cabo is known for its pristine beaches, while Cabo Frio offers a more developed infrastructure, including shops and restaurants.
Forno Velho is an archaeological site located in Arraial do Cabo, where human remains dating back around 8,000 years were found. This demonstrates that the area has a long history of human occupation.
The Municipal Butcher Shop in Arraial do Cabo is an intriguing historical building that, despite its name, was never used as a butcher shop. Today, it houses a municipal library and is a point of architectural interest.
