An incredible itinerary through Brazil begins today in Rio. The tour of the Northeast, on the Route of Emotions, is ideal and recommended from May/June to September/October, when the lagoons are full! After arriving in Rio, you will be transferred to your hotel and will have the first day free to explore the city and rest from your trip. If your flight arrives early in the morning, a tour can be arranged for the first day. Book in advance. Note: Check-in to the room is from 2 pm. If you prefer, you can request an extra night to guarantee early check-in. Accommodation: Standard hotel

Day 2 :
Customized tours of Rio: all the unmissable attractions

Itinerary: Sugarloaf Mountain, Christ the Redeemer

Today you will experience an unforgettable day in Rio. We will visit Christ the Redeemer, one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will pass by the Maracanã Stadium (exterior), the Lapa Arches, and the Metropolitan Cathedral of São Sebastián. We will climb the famous Selarón Steps, one of Rio's most beloved attractions, designed by Chilean artist Jorge Selarón. We will also climb Sugarloaf Mountain, an icon of Rio and Brazil, standing 396 meters tall, from where we can enjoy the view. We will also visit the Sambadrome to experience the atmosphere of Rio's Carnival. During the day, there will be a break for lunch (buffet lunch included). Accommodation: Standard hotel

Day 3 :
Trip to a coffee farm outside the city

Itinerary: Taquara Farm

Enjoy a unique trip to discover the Coffee Valley in the state of Rio de Janeiro! It takes about two hours to reach the Coffee Valley, located on the outskirts of Rio de Janeiro. It's one of those places that transports you to the past, known for its 19th-century coffee houses. It's a must-see for those seeking good music, history, nature, and relaxation. This region is home to some of the most important century-old coffee plantations. The region is a beautiful historical site and is characterized by its well-preserved colonial architecture. Today, we will visit one of the two most famous houses in this valley. Accommodation: Standard Hotel

Day 4 :
Flight to São Luís and transfer to the edge of the desert.

Steps: Santo Amaro do Maranhão

Our driver will pick you up at your hotel. Please be at reception at the indicated time. You will be taken to the airport to board your flight. Day 5 :
Deep sheets of paper, nestled between dunes and isolated villages.

Stages: Santo Amaro do Maranhão, Lençóis Maranhenses

Excursion to the small village of Betânia. We will stop at exclusive lagoons to enjoy the tranquility and bathe in natural pools "just for us". Tours departing from Santo Amaro allow you to spend the whole day in the dunes; compared to tours departing from Barreirinhas, you will delve much deeper into the desert, reaching natural pools far from the traditional tourist routes. In the village, you will find hospitable families who have settled on the banks of the Rio Alegre. You can enjoy lunch (not included) and discover the local cuisine, with specialties such as fish, shrimp, goat in coconut milk, and free-range chicken. Finish with a sunset! Accommodation: Standard guesthouse

Day 6 :
Towards the highest dune, with swimming in exclusive lagoons.

Stages: Barreirinhas, Lençóis Maranhenses

Private 1 hour and 30 minute transfer to Barreirinhas. Arrival at your accommodation and baggage drop-off. The most popular tour starts here: after crossing the river by ferry, you will travel through the vegetation for 50 minutes to the edge of the dunes. We will climb the highest dune, which offers a panoramic view of the desert, before swimming in one of the less crowded lagoons of the Bonita Circuit. We will return to the car for a short stretch through the vegetation, arriving at a village for a meal (not included) of free-range chicken, shrimp or grilled fish. We will continue towards the dunes of the Azul Circuit, enjoying the natural pools just for you until sunset. Accommodation: standard guesthouse

Day 7 :
Sailing along the Preguiças River from Barreirinhas to Atins

Stages: Atins

Departure for a boat trip that will serve as transportation, navigating the Preguiças River, which connects Barreirinhas to Atins. You will be able to admire the palm trees, mangroves, and dunes that border the river. The sailor will reduce the speed so that you can admire the vegetation, including the açaí palms. There will be a stop in Vassouras, in the village of Mandacaru, where monkeys roam freely. You will visit Caburé Beach, where today there are abandoned buildings, but which predate the formation of Atins. Disembark at 2 pm at the port of Atins, a remote and authentic fishing village with sandy streets. A vehicle will take you to the guesthouse (a sunset tour at Ponta do Mangue is not included). Accommodation: standard guesthouse

Day 8 :
Delta of the Americas and Red Ibis Flight at sunset

Stages:Parnaíba

Transfer to the port of Atins and embark on a boat to Caburé, where you will be met by a private vehicle and taken to the delta port. There, a speedboat will be waiting for you to navigate the Delta of the Americas, the third largest oceanic delta on the planet, during the afternoon until the much-anticipated sunset, when flocks of scarlet ibises, dispersed at the end of the day, return to the smaller and safer central islands to spend the night, away from predators. Five channels, river islands, mangroves with exposed roots, palm trees, iguanas, monkeys, alligators, birds, orange-billed caracaras, kingfishers, vultures, and green parakeets. Accommodation: standard guesthouse.

Day 9 :
Arriving in Jericoacoara from the west, passing between lagoons and Mangue Seco.

Stages:Jericoacoara

After breakfast, we will depart for Jericoacoara, taking advantage of the transfer to make stops on the west coast of Jeri and discover enchanting places. The vehicle will follow the coastal trail or through the forest to Tatajuba or Lago Grande (depending on the water level that day), where we will enjoy fish fillets cooked in the water and an exclusive menu of seafood and fish in local restaurants. The second ferry crossing will take us to Guriú Beach, with its green water channel and mangrove cemetery. We will continue along the coast to Jericoacoara. Accommodation: Standard guesthouse

Day 10 :
Discover the eastern part of Jeri, its lakes with exclusive clubs.

Stages: Jericoacoara, Preá

In Jeri, you will walk along the sand to leave the town and explore the surroundings. East of Jeri, you will reach the lagoons, and you can choose which lagoon/club to stop at. Afterwards, you can relax in the famous hammocks by the sea. The stops are optional, but not mandatory; you choose: leaving Jeri, the tour begins with a small forest called Túnel Verde; Lagoa do Paraíso, an oasis of blue and emerald-green waters; Lagoa Azul; Buraco Azul (Caiçara) or Praia da Lagun; Praia do Preá, known as the best place for kitesurfing; and Árvore da Preguiça, a solitary mangrove that grows horizontally due to the east wind. Accommodation: standard guesthouse

Day 11 :
Transfer from Jeri to Fortaleza for the return flight.
Steps:
Fortaleza-Pinto Martins Airport

Today, your international flight back home awaits you. You will leave this country with your heart full of admiration and affection... and with the desire to return and explore even more!
